Prerequisites

To ensure the integrity of telemetry being sent back to CrowdStrike, the agent uses certificate pinning, which means the connection back to the cloud cannot be subjected to SSL inspection. The following FQDNs and six IP addresses must be excluded from SSL inspection, and port 443 must be open to them.

Shortly after the installation of an agent, you should be able to see it light up in the CrowdStrike console. (Add dynamic customer login link here.)

During your initial onboarding calls, our teams will agree on a deployment plan; typically, we test the agent against a subset of development servers and IT staff workstations (known as a pilot group) before widescale rollout.

During this testing phase, our team will help you remediate any issues and become familiar with the Falcon platform. After your desired testing time, we look to roll out the agent more widely, sometimes in a big bang and sometimes in waves, as always the choice is entirely down to your preferences. In any case, during the testing and early stages of deployment, Anagram will ensure that CrowdStrike's policies are set to detect only, which means there is no risk of the agent clashing with existing applications or processes. Our team will refine and tune the policies as the deployment progresses so that any false positives or potential interference are ruled out before the best practices and prevention policies are applied.
